Improvements and fixes for Claro Premedia and Claro Single 9 update 13

Changes for Claro Premedia

  • PDF processing : It is possible now to extract images from a pdf to a specified folder. (with or without pdf processing).
  • JPEG files, two embedded ICC profiles with the same sequence number are not rejected anymore, but the first profile is taken for colour management.
  • Settings : Assumed profile for Grayscale images can be configured now in the input conversion tab
  • PDF files : If configured that images in DeviceN colorspace should be processed, the image will be skipped if the DeviceN parameters represent an artwork image.
  • Routing channel : extra colorspace ‘Indexed’ added for routering purposes ‘Indexed’ colour models are detected for PNG,TIFF,PSD,GIF

Bug fixes for Claro Premedia

  • Fix for reading Interleaved EPS files.
  • Fix for more complex EPS clipping paths in EPS files
  • MultiServer / Routing : file may not be routed and channel is set standby, error message: file can not be copied to: The process cannot access the file because another process has locked a portion of the file.
  • Solution : Filelocking added now to output file, channel is put only to standby if folder does not exist.
  • Mac Installer : Installer failed if a large number of files are present below the installation folder (f.i. Inspector files, temporary files…). Fail message : Cannot run program ‘chown’, argument list too long.
  • This issue has been solved now.

 

Changes for Claro Single:

  • PDF processing : It is possible now to extract images from a pdf to a specified folder. (with or without pdf processing). (use xml option PDF / PDFExtractImagesWithoutPDFProcessing)
