We’ve updated the image positioning for images that contain a clipping path.
The path can now be used as a reference to position the image in the image frame. The selection is available in the Image Settings panel.
Structured Text Import allows “tagged” text to be imported in a text frame and styled automatically with the use of paragraph and/or character styles.
ODT Import – ODT Export
ODF stands for “Open Document Format”, an ISO standard for office documents. The standard describes 3 different types of documents of which ODT (*.odt) is one. These can now be imported and converted to a CHILI Publisher document. A CHILI Publisher document can also be exported back to an ODT file, all from within the editor or via and API call. No additional plugins are needed.
HTML / ePub output
A CHILI Publisher document can be converted to a basic HTML or ePub file. The export results in a structure that can be used as the start of an html or ePub project.
For existing CHILI Publisher users updates can be downloaded and installed following the normal procedure. For more information on CHILI Publisher or visit the CHILI Publish website.
