About us – The background

Workflowz is a UK based distributor and integrator of leading edge software products in the graphic arts market. Providing best of breed solutions with associated professional services (training, project management, and support) across a growing product portfolio has led to some new opportunities opening up in our team. We have a proven track record of taking embryonic technologies and bringing them to market so they become the de-facto standards. We are independent and therefore agile about adopting new products and services. This has led to us establishing our organisation with a strong position in the market and with an active and growing list of clients. Our can-do attitude in combination with our candid advice, trust, integrity and openness ensures we have a really strong position in the sector.

The Role – The opportunity

Based from our UK head office on the Surrey/Hampshire border, but working with our growing user base and partners throughout the UK and Ireland, you will be a key member of the team and there is the opportunity to develop into a more senior position over time. Experience counts for a lot, but on the job training will also be provided.
It's as much about attitude as it is about skills.

Why we're looking

Building on our success we now need to recruit so we can continue our forecasted year on year growth (currently over 50%). We have in place a strategy to make our team and suppliers more successful in a demanding market through efficient processes.
To this end we are relocating (within the same region) to larger premises and further raising our profile at trade shows, partner events and with more innovative technologies joining the portfolio.

Your Profile – The Candidate

If you have an absolute passion for professionalism, innovation and would be comfortable working in a small growing business then we want to hear from you. Even if you are experiecend and may be more senior than this role we would certainly like to hear form you, as you are liekly to be able to hit the ground running.

The business seeks to employ people who share the entrepreneurial, can-do attitude built into its foundations and tends to attract like minded self-motivated individuals who are energised by the responsibilities available in what is still a relatively small, flexible and informal environment. You will be as comfortable working independently as in a small team and you will have the skills and determination to liaise effectively with suppliers and clients alike to achieve your objectives. As part of this role there will be an opportunity to travel in the UK to client sites and occasionally abroad in support of our global growth, product research and supplier liaison.

Mac and Windows literate

Pre Press Workflows like proofing, imposition, advantageous
Web 2 print and variable data
PDF creation, flight checking and standards
Knowledge about conventional and digital (small and large format) printing is beneficial

Indicative Terms

Salary: Package Based on experience
Probationary Period: 3 months
Salary Review: Annual
Holidays: 20 days
